Sunscreen

So, the thing about process art is not being able to control the outcome… Yesterday was cold and gray and my paints needed a dose of zoloft, everything kept coming out really dark. Today is sunny (not really warm) but I have the door to the studio open and paintings strewn about in various stages of rusting/patina-ing. This one painting is getting a direct shot of sun and while not a desired effect, it is turning white where the sun is hitting it. I guess it’s time to add another layer of paint and close the curtains. I think while the paint is drying I’ll step outside and get myself a healthy dose of vitamin D.
